Digital Control Unit
for the
FLIR Systems UltraMedia HD System
The Zaltron Digital Control Unit for the UMHD is a standalone unit designed to enhance the functionality of the FLIR Systems UltraMedia HD Airborne Camera System. It allows this system to be interfaced to other avionics equipment, such as moving map units, and searchlight slaving units. It also enables the system to be remotely controlled over a serial data link.

Connects between the Turret Camera Unit, and Camera Control Unit of a standard FLIR Systems UltraMedia HD System.

Three independent data ports provided for connection to other avionics equipment, each with RS232, and RS422 interface capability.

Built in geo-pointing functionality.
Operates from standard aircraft 28VDC supply

Housed in a standard 19 inch rack, and designed for mounting directly above, or below the Camera Body Unit of the UltraMedia HD System.
